Talks across the United States introduced Taiwanese American communities to Taiwan-related bills before Congress, covering what the bills would do, where they stood in the legislative process, and how members of Congress viewed them.

Drawing on her meetings in congressional offices, Harper explained how a bill moves from introduction and cosponsorship to committee review, and where community members can take part.

The events were co-hosted with law schools, bar associations, and Taiwanese American organizations, and also addressed broader questions of U.S.–Taiwan relations, international law, and democratic governance.
